NEW High-Def DVD players on the way

The top manufacturers, including LG Electronics, Samsung, Toshiba, and Sharp have all announced a slew of new high definition players sure to make the electronic consumer very pleased. These players are by all means raising the bar. In our opinion, the most impressive is the new LG BH200 high-definition hybrid player. It's the second generation player for LG (see LG BH100) and packs a punch that demands respect. Some new features include:

• Authorized HD-DVD Player - the previous model lacked this branding due to it's lack of ethernet connectivity which is required for many HD DVD bonus features and interactivity.
• CD playback support - expected to even provide 7.1 surround sound for a true music experience.
• HDMI 1.3 connectivity
• Price point: $999 (expected release date is Oct 2007)
